Adding the widget

iPhone and iPad: touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and choose All Around. Two sizes are offered — the small one shows airport-style codes, the large one shows full city names and the time difference from you.

Mac: right-click the desktop, choose Edit Widgets, and find All Around in the gallery.

Choosing your cities

Open the app and tap any row to swap it for somewhere else; swipe a row away to remove it. Search by city name — a few thousand places are available. Each widget holds six rows, which is a team rather than a department.

There are two independent widgets, so you can keep two separate lists on screen at once. They share your hours and display settings, but not their rosters.

Reading the colours

A warm band means it is early or late where that person is — awake, but outside working hours. A blue band means they are most likely asleep. Plain rows are fair game. Set the boundaries yourself under Hours.

Naming rows

You can attach a person’s name to any city, so the list reads as people rather than places. Turn names on under Display. Names stay on your device — see the privacy policy.
